Heraldic/Armorial-style bookplate, assumed to be that of Louis XV, King of France and of Navarre until 1774. If accurate, accompanying letter states it was sent to Helen Pearson from William P. Frost in April of 1945. Frost bought the bookplate from a collector in Paris and gifted it to Pearson.
