Commemoration
Of the One Hundred and Fiftieth Anniversary of the Capture of Fort Williams and Mary (now Fort Constitution at New Castle, N.H. August 18, 19 and 20, 1924. The capture of this fort was the first overt act preceding the Revolutionary War. Its store of powder greatly aided the cause of freedom. The historic event will be re-enacted on August 20 by the descendants of the patriots of 1774. Celebrate with us at this historic spot.
