A heraldic-style bookplate in black ink on ivory paper with a line border. The shield is divided into black and white quarters with a slanted line between them. A fleur de lis spans the upper two quarters, and a sun spans the lower two quarters. The shield is flanked by two lions rampant, and topped by a helmet with simplistic mantling. A banner above reads "Ex libris" and the name H. P[illegible] Williams is handwritten in a banner beneath.
