A pictorial-style bookplate in black ink on ivory paper with featuring an image of the top half of an open-mouthed East Asian dragon holding a scrying ball. There is a small fleur-de-lis and wreath to the left, and the dragon's body is cut off by two thick lines in black and green. Beneath this division is a banner reading "Ich schutze dich" which translates from the German to "I protect you." At the bottom is the text "Ex libris Dr. Hans Nissl."
