A pictorial-style institutional bookplate in black ink on light ivory paper. The design features two angels wearing draped clothing and hoods holding torches. Between the torches is a six pointed star. In front of them is an open book with "No." in the lower left corner, and the angels appear to be holding it open with a wreath. Above are two banners with the text "University of California" and "James K Moffitt Fund" and at the bottom of the image is a small banner reading "Let there be light!"
