A handwritten note on the front reads "You are familiar with this quaint old town and in a way it is grand but the ride by the river or cliff just frightened the life out of us and we are leaving at once. I'm still guessing about the [illegible]. Our trip has been a joy. [Illegible]." The postcard is addressed to Mrs. Henry Clay Barnabee, 225 Riverside Drive, New York City, New York, U.S.A. and is postmarked from Montreal, Canada on June 8, 1906.
