The man n the foreground is balancing a tall pole on his abdomen, and on the top of the pole is another man, with his limbs spread wide, supported by his abdomen. In the background is a thatch-roofed building surrounded by tropical trees. Text on the front reads "Greetings from Penang." A handwritten note reads "Letter from Columbo [Hong Kong is crossed out here] - the first word we have had from you since we left New York. We are well & having a wonderful trip. Will write in a few days. With love, R.H.B. Feb. 5th, 1906." The postcard is addressed to Mr. Henry Clay Barnabee, 225 Riverside Drive, New York City, New York, U.S.A. and is postmarked from Penang on February 7, 1906.
