A watercolor painting of the Willey House in Crawford Notch. The house was the site of a tragedy in 1826 when a storm led to the deaths of nine people, including the entire Willey family. The house became a tourist attraction until it burned down in 1899. Inscription reads, "Willey House - Notch. Built 1793, burned 1899."
