A pictorial-style bookplate in brown ink on ivory paper, with a floral motif border. The ventral image is of a room with brick walls and a window, in front of which is a desk and a bench or chair. On the table there is an open book, a rolled up scroll, and a quill and inkpot. There is a cupboard on the wall to the right of the desk, with an open door and books on its shelves.
