A pictorial-style bookplate in black ink on ivory paper with a double line border which resembles a bookshelf. The top half contains two shelves full of books, both upright and piled in stacks, and a pen and inkpot on the lower shelf. The bottom half contains the words "Ex libris" in an embellished Gothic font, and space to write the owner's name.
