A black and white postcard featuring a photograph of a woman from the shoulders up, wearing an ornate hat and with her hand beneath her chin. Text on the front reads "Alice Nielsen, Barton Opera House, Fresno, Thursday Evening, January 11, 1906." A handwritten note on the front reads "Dearest friends - Since leaving Shuberts & going with Klow & Erlanger & being properly advertised played to over $5,000.00 in three performances at Los Angeles. Fondest love to both from yr. ever affect Alice [illegible] Russell sends regards." The postcard is addressed to Mr. & Mrs. H.C. Barnabee, 225 Riverside Drive, The Estling, New York City, N.Y. and is postmarked January 23, 1905 from Coronado, California.
