Collection: The Helen Pearson Bookplate Collection
A typographic-style institutional bookplate in black ink on ivory paper with a line border. "Vassar College Library" is written at the top in a calligraphic font with ornate capitals. In the center is A knot work square, and in its center is the text "Doe well and let them saye," with a star and upwards-pointing crescent above it. Additional text beneath reads "Foundation of Mary Augusta Scott, Class of 1976." The bookplate is signed and dated with A.H.R. 1921.
